Steve McLaughlin, PA-C

Read Steve's Bio

Steve McLaughlin, PA-C, received his undergraduate degree from Ohio University. Following, he completed training as a physician’s assistant at the University of Texas’ Southwestern Medical School, Dallas. McLaughlin’s experience also includes time served in the United States Army as a medic/OR technician. McLaughlin relocated to Tennessee in 1997 and joined East Tennessee Brain & Spine Center in 2000.

Wes Perry, PA-C

A native of East Tennessee, Wes Perry, PA-C, received his undergraduate degree in biology from East Tennessee State University. Following, he completed his physician’s assistant training with Duke University, Durham, NC. Perry’s experience, including years served in the United States Army as a military medic, includes both general orthopedics and neurosurgical care, with Perry joining East Tennessee Brain & Spine Center in 2001.

Isaac O’Dell, PA-C

A native of East Tennessee, Isaac O’Dell, PA-C, received his undergraduate degree at Lincoln Memorial University. Following, he completed his training as a physician’s assistant at Jefferson College of Health Sciences, joining East Tennessee Brain & Spine Center in 2005.

Melissa White, NP-C

A native of East Tennessee, Melissa White, NP-C, completed her undergraduate degrees in public health and nursing from East Tennessee State University, where she also went on to complete a master of science in nursing degree. White has received national certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Program.

Jason Walls, PA-C, MPAS

Jason Walls, PA-C, MPAS, received his bachelor of science in biology with a minor in chemistry, from Radford University, Radford, Va. He went on to receive his master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Nebraska’s College of Medicine. Walls medical experience includes time serving with the United States Navy, where he achieved the rank of Lieutenant. Walls experience also includes work in London, following his selection as one of three ambassadors to help establish a physician’s assistant profession in England. During his time in London, Walls helped establish the first physician’s assistant program at St. George’s Medical School. Walls and his wife, Brooke, enjoy time with their two sons, Lochlan and York.

Heather Hambrick, ANP

A native of the Tri-Cities’, Heather Hambrick, ANP, received her undergraduate degree in nursing from East Tennessee State University, where she also went on to receive her master of science in nursing. Her medical experience includes internal medicine, hospital medicine, as well as hematology/oncology. With an interest in all things outdoor-related, Hambrick most enjoys golf, swimming, snow skiing, running, and watching her children play sports. She also greatly enjoys UT football. Hambrick joined East Tennessee Brain & Spine in 2012.

Ricky Maupin, PA-C

A native of East Tennessee, Ricky Maupin, PA-C, received his undergraduate degree in allied health with a concentration in radiography at East Tennessee State University, graduating summa cum laude. With experience as an x-ray technologist, Maupin went on to receive his master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Alabama, Birmingham. Maupin joined East Tennessee Brain & Spine in 2012.

Tracy Gaudu, PA-C

Described by patients as outgoing, caring and compassionate, Tracy Gaudu, PA-C, received her physician’s assistant degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston. Devoting six years to the United States Air Force, Gaudu’s experience includes knowledge in degenerative and deformity spine disorders as well as pediatric/adolescent scoliosis. Gaudu believes listening carefully to the concerns and needs of patients is important in determining the proper course of care. In her freetime, Gaudu enjoys drag racing and high speed autocross racing. A member of a local Corvette club, Gaudu is an avid fan of all things “Corvette.”

Bailey E. Qualls, PA-C

A native of Kingsport, Bailey Qualls, PA-C, received her bachelor of science degree in chemistry with a minor in humanities from East Tennessee State University (ETSU), graduating summa cum laude. She went on to complete her master’s degree in physician’s assistant studies from the South College Physician’s Assistant Program, Knoxville, Tenn. Though she served at East Tennessee Brain & Spine Center as a medical assistant during her training at ETSU, Qualls began serving as a physician’s assistant at ETBS in 2012.
Erin Zezulka

Erin Douglas, PA-C

Read Erin's Bio

Erin is a native of Grand Rapids, Michigan. She received her undergraduate degree at Grand Valley State University and moved to Tennessee to attend PA school at Lincoln Memorial University where she graduated with academic honors in 2013. She began her PA career working in Internal Medicine but found a passion for Neurosurgery and joined East Tennessee Brain and Spine in 2015. In her spare time Erin enjoys spending time being active outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

 

Tricia Erwin, NP-C

Read Tricia's Bio

Tricia Erwin, FNP-BC, is an ANCC board certified family nurse practitioner and a member of the Tennessee Nurse’s Association. She began her education with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in biology from King College in Bristol, Tennessee. She graduated with honors in 2008 and was also a member of the women’s basketball team while there. She subsequently pursued a second Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and graduated with honors in 2010 from East Tennessee State University. She worked as a registered nurse at the Johnson City Medical Center, predominantly in the Adult Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit before returning to complete here Master of Science in Nursing in 2015 at East Tennessee State University. She and her husband, Dustin, share four children and enjoy spending time together as a family.
