Wes Perry, PA-C

Wes is a native of East Tennessee. He completed an undergraduate degree in biology from East Tennessee State University. He completed his Physician's Assistant training in Duke University's PA Program in 1987. He was in general orthopaedics from 1987-2001, and in 2001 joined East Tennessee Brain and Spine. From 1977-1980 he was a military medic in the Army.

Steve McLaughlin, PA-C

Steve received his bachelor's degrees in science and education from Ohio University in 1976. He completed his Physician's Assistant training at Southwestern Medical School at The University of Texas in 1985. He was a medic/OR technician in the Army. He moved to Tennessee in 1997 and joined East Tennessee Brain and Spine in 2000.

Isaac O'Dell, PA-C

Isaac is a native of East Tennessee.  He received his bachelor's degrees in Medical Technology and Chemistry at Lincoln Memorial University in 2003. He completed Physician's Assistant school at Jefferson College of Health Sciences. In 2005 he joined East Tennessee Brain and Spine.

Jamie Casey, PA-C

Jamie received his bachelor's degree in chemistry from Augusta College in 1979. He completed his Physician Assistant training at the Medical of Georgia in 1985. He has worked in Cardiothoracic Surgery since graduation and now brings his surgical and critical care experience to East Tennessee Brain and Spine in 2008.

Ashlee Newland, PA-C

Ashlee is a native of East Tennessee. She received her bachelor's degree in Public and Allied Health at East Tennessee State University in 2006. She completed Physician's Assistant school at South College in 2009. She joined East Tennessee Brain and Spine in March 2010.

Kathy Burniston, FNP

Kathy received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from East Tennessee State University in 1983, and completed her nurse practitioner education in 1992, with a Master of Science in Nursing degree from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.  She has worked in primary care and cardiology throughout her career, and joined ETBS in 2009.

Melissa White, NP-C

Melissa is a native of East Tennessee. She completed undergraduate degrees in Public Health and Nursing from East Tennessee State University as well as a Master of Science in Nursing. She has received national certification from The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Adult Nurse Practitioner.

Theresa Huff, DPT

Theresa is a native of east Tennessee. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga. Theresa earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga.  She performed a variety of clinical rotations which included Shepherd Spinal Center in Atlanta, GA.  Theresa is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).  She has achieved certification from the APTA for vestibular rehabilitation.  As a physical therapist, she has helped persons of all ages return to their highest level of function.

Ricky Maupin PA-C

Ricky is a native of the Tri-cities area. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Allied Health with a concentration in Radiography at East Tennessee State University in 2007, graduating Summa cum laude. He worked as an x-ray technologist in Johnson City for two years before attending PA school in Birmingham, AL. He graduated in 2011 with a Master\'s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the UAB Surgical Physician Assistant Program. He joined the ETBS team in 2012.
